Each time we start a new account somewhere on the internet, a database stores the information we put into the registration. It is easy for people to forget what they've posted to twitter, or at least feel safer about twitter's security. But when something is brand new there is doubt in folks' minds about the security or even the source of the new place to discuss. It's perhaps paranoia, but not without good reason. Big Brother is watching after all.

Although I've been using forums for well over a decade I was still reluctant to sign up on here. Not because of Big Brother getting my info, they've had that forever. My hesitation was that I do not know who the admins or mods of this forum are, others may have the same hesitation. I would hope they get past it and sign up. There is no reason for this forum to not be active.

The mods of this forum are the PR/Media team, and the only reason for these mods are to make sure there is no hate speech or spam. Nothing else will be removed, and banning is not going to happen unless you do nothing but flame and hate on everything and everyone. Heated discussion is not included as flame and hate by any means.
I hope this clears up some of the confusion there.
