I want to propose a direct action. I think Occupy Denver should go Christmas caroling.

Right now Occupy Denver has an image problem. The news media portrays us as hippies, anarchist, and prone to violence. What better way to rectify that image than to go Christmas caroling!

We can start from Civic Center and walk around the Capital Hills area singing to our neighbors. Perhaps Thursday, 12/22/11, at 7pm?

Can someone propose this at a GA? I have a father with Parkinson’s so I can not attend GAs.

I really like that idea. I'm not sure if I'll be down there tonight 12/19 but if I am I will bring it up.

Something similar was mentioned for the Saturday march. I know some people were proposed to a Christmas and a New Years Saturday march but most people were still dedicated do doing them no matter what and would like to sing some carols or modify some carols with Occupy lyrics. I am not that clever but I'm sure with so many creative people around we can come up with something.
