Jamie here from OccupyRochester(NY)...
I saw these 'coloardo hot pockets' in a media report and as part of reporting to our own winterization working group; I'd like some more information on how to build and utilize these as part of our own extended Occupation.
Any information on these would be greatly appriciated!

Hey Jamie ... the colorado hot pockets or denver hot pocket is pretty simple and affordable to make!
Virtually all it requires is two tarps and space blankets/sleeping bags/regular blankets.
The two tarps are either sewn together or taped together at the seams with one directional face left open for an entrance.
You wanna leave a bit of a lip as well for the tarp to hang over the entrance.
You then stuff it full with as many sleeping bags you can muster. It should be noted however that condensation is a problem and will accumulate within the hot pocket. Generally two blankets over top of you is preferred.
Depending on the size of the tarp it can fit from 3 people to 10 or more !
The more people, the more body heat! Make lots of friends whom want to sleep with you!
Cheers and good luck !
