Dear Friends, I was wondering if anybody else was concerned with Paulo Freire's attraction to Mao expressed in the footnotes on Pages 93 & 94. I don't think that it negates the essence of Freire's philosophy, I just wondered what people thought about it. Also, I was wondering if a PDF of a preface to a book "Occupy Education" by Tina Evans could be posted here? Best, Dale

Thanks for setting this up. I work Tues. and Thur. nights, so I can't make it to the meetings, but I'd love to hear people's thoughts here.
